Hello, I'm MONIQUE.
I am a registered Child and Youth Worker with the Ontario Association of Child and Youth Care (OACYC). I support caregivers and parents as they actualize the skills, insights, and relationships that allow them to lead more peaceful and empowered lives with their children. Parenting can be life’s most challenging experience but also one of the most rewarding experiences. Parents play a critical role in shaping their children’s lives and futures and my role is to guide and help parents and children grow together.
I’ve been supporting children, youth, and their families since 1989. I’ve worked intensively in the school systems, social services, and the mental health sectors. I provide coaching and support for parents and caregivers by addressing challenging behaviors, teaching encouraging nurturing, and repairing family relationships. Parents are supported in accessing perspectives and skills that empower them to connect deeply with their children and navigate challenging moments.
