Who is John?
John has been registered as a Psychological Associate with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario since 1999. He completed his HBA at Carleton University, an MA in Clinical Psychology at Lakehead University, and a Graduate Certificate in Behavioural Intervention with Autism through University of Massachusetts, Lowell.
John began his career in Thunder Bay working within the Community Mental Health services providing a range of counselling, day treatment, residential, and psychological assessment services. Over the last 12 years in North Bay his work has focused in the area of services with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Psychological Assessment, and Behavioural Intervention. John is fortunate to have had the opportunity to develop practical, and evidence-based client/family centered plans that support skill development, promote positive behaviour, and collaborate with a wide range of community services. John retired from One Kids Place in May, 2024.
Currently John provides Psychological Assessment and Consultation services focused on children and teens developmental needs associated with Intellectual Disability and Autism Spectrum Disorder.
